“Free America” Day of Community Action Similar to the April 19th day of action, we’re recommending a focus on community-building and mutual aid. Events like food drives or food distribution, community block parties, skill shares, or art-making can help us build the people power that makes mass mobilization possible. Since July 4th is a Friday, events will likely continue through the weekend. We hear our friends at Women’s March are calling this “Free America Weekend”: an opportunity to celebrate real freedom, in our communities, on our terms.
Sunday @ 7:30 PM, West Hartford Town Hall
Mass Mobilization
A growing coalition is supporting actions on the anniversary of Rep. John Lewis’ passing.
“Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.”
