Local Representative: represent each local chapter while participating in state level organization.
manage your local chapter’s projects and protest planning with the assistance of your local chapter’s other organizers.

Assisting with simple Discord moderation is encouraged, but you can opt out of that if you wish.
Local Organizers: organize and lead events in your region
planning and logistics such as requesting legal observers and permitting, and leading chants or marches.
Being a contact point for local 50501 chapter members, and someone they will be able to meet in meat-space.
Growing 50501 through community outreach across all platforms.
Onboarding new members and assisting with orientation both in discord and through other platforms, including providing resources and teaching for first time protestors
Representing the voices of members who are not on Discord.

reach out on-line and irl to get our message out in a way that's meaningful to the people around you
seek collaborations with other organizations whose mission overlaps with ours
ensure the safety of participants
cooperate with both leadership and law enforcement
coordinate event participants
de-escalate tense situations
communicate with leadership about major issues
provide medical support at events, including protests, marches, and direct actions
medics must have at minimum, a current first aid/cpr certification
we will provide first aid supplies before events
bring supplies (provided by CT 50501) to events
set up up table, chairs, tents, as needed
give away items such as food, water, medical supplies, and sanitation equipment
answer questions and distribute marketing materials
collect litter, signs, and any other debris left behind
contact our elected officials by phone calls, emails, and letters to voice our concerns
